In doing so we can attend to your job more efficiently.

ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS:

All files should be PC compatible.

• EPS — Adobe Illustrator (All text converted to paths or curves)
• AI — Adobe Illustrator (All text converted to paths or curves)
• PDF — Adobe PDF (All text converted to paths or curves)
• PSD Adobe Photoshop
• TIFF
• JPEG

CorelDraw files cannot be accepted. Files can be supplied by; Should your Artwork files exceed 7MB, please send artwork via via DropBox or WeTransfer to our offices.

COLOUR

All artwork should be supplied in CMYK or Pantone Colours. We do not print metallic and neon colours. Should any logo or specific artwork contain a metallic or a neon colour, an alternative Pantone or CMYK colour would need to be supplied.

FONTS AND TEXT:

Make sure ALL FONTS are converted to paths. Or please provide us with the font names as well as the links to obtain them. These can be sent via DropBox or WeTransfer if they exceed the size limit for email.

VECTOR ARTWORK:

Vector artwork uses mathematical relationships between points and the paths connecting them to describe an image. We can accept vector artwork in the following formats:

• EPS — Adobe Illustrator (All text converted to paths or curves)
• AI — Adobe Illustrator (All text converted to paths or curves)
• PDF — Adobe PDF (All text converted to paths or curves)

Please do not supply MS Word, MS Publisher, PageMaker, QuarkXpress, or MS PowerPoint files or send vector images that are embedded within another file.

IMAGES

Ensure that ALL IMAGES used in the artwork layups are EMBEDDED or provide artwork with these images supplied separately or links to obtain them. This too can be done via DropBox or WeTransfer if they exceed the size limit for email.

When sending through JPEG’s/ TIFF’s or PSD’s, ensure that the resolution of the images are 72dpi at actual size, and use maximum quality compression when saving files.

PRODUCT TEMPLATES

Adobe Illustrator Templates will be provided on request. Please set all elements to be printed in the LAYOUT/ ARTWORK LAYER.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF IMAGES

The vast majority of images on the internet are likely to be protected by copyright, so it is only safe to use it if you have specific permission to do so through a licence; or your particular use is specifically permitted in the terms and conditions of the website supplying the image and this is the copyright owner’s website or another website which has the copyright owner’s permission to allow other people to use an image; or if you have established that copyright has expired; or if you are using the image in a way which is covered by a permitted act/exception to copyright. The use of licensed images is usually much safer than using unlicensed images which offer no protection against infringement.

Therefore if you are supplying images for reproduction, you may be asked to provide evidence that the image can be used for the purpose you are wanting and/or indemnify ExpandaSign for the use of the image provided.
